 I’ll be going over a few water filters I have and a few I don’t, as well as how to find water if necessary and water storage. I’ll also be going over questions in the chat, so make sure and join in.
While water storage is fairly basic, ensuring the water you drink in a disaster is one of the most important aspects of preparedness. Without water, everything else doesn't really matter.

When we think about everyday carry items we usually think about what we put in our pockets every day. But the truth is that much more goes into EDC items than a flashlight and a pocket knife.
While these prepping supplies and EDC supplies are important,  As they say, a carpenter is only as good as his tools. Anyone can go out and buy the best “tools of the trade” but if they don’t know how to use them, the house they build might not look like a house at all.
I go over some ideas and supplies for everyday carry items in this article titled “EDC From Head to Toe”, but this show goes into a whole lot more detail such as knowledge and skills first. Most of the items we carry everyday are stored in our heads, not in our pockets, purse, or wallet. After that we moved to EDC items, EDC bags, and EDC car supplies.

While bushcraft or wilderness survival skills aren’t a “top priority” when prepping and preparing for disaster, they are force multiplying skills. Knowing how to build a fire, filter water, or forage for food will be handier than you think.
We have all these modern conveniences, which are fantastic, but what happens when those are unavailable? Can you build a fire without a bic lighter? Or could you find food if you found yourself in a survival situation?
Knowing some bushcraft or wilderness skills gives you a fallback option when all else fails. Not every person interested in wilderness survival or bushcraft is interested in preparedness, but in my opinion, all preppers should have some austere survival skills.
