In Episode 77, Dave starts the show with a discussion about precious metals and a catalytic converter theft ring in Ohio and ponders whether or not the precious metals contained therein (platinum, palladium, and rhodium) are a viable form of currency in a societal collapse. From there, he ponders some more on the advice and a book recommendation (William Strauss’s The Fourth Turning) from John Jeffers. Speaking of recommendations, Dave offers up several viewing options to broaden your knowledge base in the form of Oliver Stone’s Ukraine on Fire and Revealing Ukraine, Jim Wolfston’s documentary Rigged, and Dinesh D’Souza’s latest documentary 2,000 Mules. The latter of which he and wife will be viewing next Monday. He concludes the show by tying a number of seemingly unrelated items together (Twitter purchase, Depp trial) to show it’s just cover and fodder for what’s really going on in Ukraine, the laptop, FDA, and Bill Gates becoming the largest land owner in U.S..
